With this tuning, the SR7VIISC can be played as a standard bass guitar, but also allows forays into lead guitar territories for the adventurous bassist.The 30 short scale allows the instrument to be played as a guitar while still maintaining the necessary tension for a bass.The string spcing is 11mm, slightly wider than a guitar but much narrower than an electric bass, allowing for playing. This more than likely happened when the machines were replaced and possibly tightened down a bit too hard, resulting in finish cracks.Ĭosmetic Description Below average used condition. There is a split in the top of the body as well as small splits in the back of the headstock between tuning machines. Looking for an inexpensive guitar to play around the house where it may get banged around a bit? Look no further! This Applause AA14-4 has a sweet tone and plays well for under $100! Cosmetically, this one has seen better days, but it still plays well and sounds great! Neck is made from a hard foam material and the fretboard is aluminum, which is fairly unique!
